On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the family of Pat and Harry Tolmen gathered at Harry Bear Tolmen Field for the dedication of the batting cage which was presented to the New Prairie Baseball Team as the result of generous donations made to the Harry Bear Tolmen Memorial Fund which is still functioning at First Source Bank. 
Several members of the family also threw out a first pitch prior to the game.

Four hundred three (403) teams were drawn on Sunday and placed into brackets for the 108th Annual IHSAA Boys Basketball State Tournament presented by the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.

Two New Prairie wrestlers will hit the mat this weekend at the East Chicago Semi State after advancing out of the Crown Point Regional.


The top four place winners in each weight class at Semi State will advance to the State Finals.
