Candidate Asking for Your Vote

Dear Voter in our St. Joseph County Commissioner – 2nd District Primary Election,

Greetings. Please kindly know that I am respectfully requesting the honor of You voting for me, Oliver Davis, to be your St. Joseph County Commissioner 2nd District in our June 2, 2020 Primary Election.

In times like these in our District 2, having a leader who you can trust and personally call and who will work hard to respond to your needs is very important. My cellphone number is 574-876-6938.

Over the past 15 years we have worked together to build up our District 2 area including working to add jobs through supporting various businesses who were growing or relocating to our area such as our new Martin’s Grocery Store on Mayflower Road, promoted TRANSPO Bus Shelters, supported our local Police and Fire officers as they protected our families, updated animal ordinances to better protect our pets and animal shelters, successfully solved the flooding problems which damaged many neighbors when the Ethanol Plant closed, fought against the Car Shredder being housed on Gertrude Road – it should never have been in New Carlisle too, fought to save the homes in our Ardmore Neighborhood, worked to improve zoning and annexation development throughout our St. Joseph County, spoke up for those who are facing homeless and housing challenges, promoted fairness and diversity in dealing with our public funds, sponsored and passed a sexual harassment ordinance for the City of South Bend, which was one of the first of its kind in Indiana, and worked together with You on many other plans which made our District 2 a better place to live.

Thus, I am humbly asking for your Vote, Encouragement, and Prayers when You Vote in our June 2nd Primary Election. Together, we can be a District 2 Team who will protect, uplift, and strengthen our area.

Oliver Davis Candidate, County Commissioner 2nd District
