A deviled eggs recipe - made with all the classic deviled egg ingredients, plus guess what! Avocado! Creamy, flavorful and “hello” - even bacon!

Festive Deviled Eggs 12 hard-boiled eggs (peeled and halved) 3/4 cup diced avocado (peeled, pitted and diced) 2 Tbsp mayo (or more depending on your liking) 1 Tbsp lemon juice 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper 1/4 tsp black pepper 1/4 tsp salt 2 slices bacon cooked and diced

Remove the yolks from the eggs. Place all the yolks in a mixing bowl and add the diced avocado, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, crushed red pepper, black pepper and salt. Mix all the ingredients together with a fork until very well combined. Place the avocado mixture into the centers of the hard-boiled eggs. Top each deviled egg with crumbled bacon just before serving.

Etc. — A small cookie scoop makes this process really easy. You may want to top your deviled eggs with pimiento for a festive look. A little trick for making hard-boiled eggs ( I shared this with you before, but thought I would drop the hint again) Place eggs in a large saucepan and cover with cold water by 1 inch. Bring to a boil and cook for only 1 minute. Cover eggs with tight fitting lid. Remove from heat. Set aside for 12 minutes. Drain. Pour icy cold water over eggs. Drain and remove from pan - tap egg on top, roll egg with the palm of your hand and peel. May all our readers have a very prosperous and healthy 2020!
