This year is the 50th anniversary for New Prairie High School. To celebrate this milestone, the baseball team would like to invite all of our alumni to attend our Alumni Day at the New Prairie Cougars baseball game on Saturday, April 13, at 11 AM Central Time.
The Cougars will be taking on the South Central Satellites for a single seven-inning game.
With the help of our fundraising group, the New Prairie Diamond Club, we have put together the following agenda for all of our alumni that would like to attend the game:
Current Record Books for all Alumni - 1969 through 2018
Group picture on the field after the game - Will send to everyone
Tours of new weight room and athletic facilities (10:15AM)
A few words from Coach Schellinger following the game
Cookout immediately following game for alumni and family
For those who don’t know, New Prairie High School has recently started a major expansion and renovation. Our new weight room is an incredible facility that we are sure will impress everyone who hasn’t toured it yet.
Harry “Bear” Tolmen Field has also seen a lot of improvements over the years and we would like to show it off!
We are also asking everyone who sees this to please share this message or pass it on to other baseball alumni. Also, please contact other baseball alumni you know that may not have access to social media. The more former players, coaches, and we have the better. Please help make this a big event.
We are very excited about this event and are hoping to see many of you there. If you have any questions about the event, please contact Rick Bloode, our alumni coordinator.
Also, because of the cookout, we are asking for everyone who will be attending to RSVP to Rick Bloode at 574-360-4787 with how many people you will be attending with so we can make sure we have the right amount of food.
