County Parks Offering Winter Programs
Mark your calendars for our Skiing Under the Stars cross-country skiing program series at St. Patrick’s County Park. On Friday, January 11 from 6pm to 9pm (snow conditions permitting), enjoy a leisurely ski on lighted trails to the Manion Cabin. A warm beverage awaits you, along with homemade cookies and a cozy campfire where you can relax and warm up!
Program fee: $7/person. Bring your own skis or rent a pair of ours for $10/person. Rental includes skis, boots and poles. Additional Skiing Under the Stars program dates are Friday, January 18 and 25 and Friday, February 1. Programs will be cancelled if skiing conditions are unfavorable. Winter Fling for Families with Preschoolers
Join us on Friday, January 18 from 10 am to 12 noon in the Brown Barn at St. Patrick’s County Park for a special morning of winter activities for children five and under.
Experience a warm winter story followed by a cool outdoor adventure. You can also paint and sculpt snow, make a snowy footprint craft, sample a tasty snack, and feel furs to see how animals stay warm in winter!

Soup, Salad and Evening Hike
On January 19, from 6pm to 8:30pm, join us for a supper of soup and salad in the historic Studebaker Clubhouse at Bendix Woods County Park, then embark on an evening hike through the Studebaker Trees down to the sugar house where dessert and a warm crackling fire await to refresh you for the return hike.
This program is for ages 12 and older. Program fee: $15/person. Registration and payment are required by January 14.
