Christmas Thoughts from Rolling Prairie UMC

When we think about Christmas, we think of being kind to others, giving to those who are struggling to get by, it’s about Love and Families coming together. Christmas is the beginning of how God stepped down from His throne, in the humblest of ways, in the form of the baby Jesus’. Love in the purest, came down that Christmas 2000 years ago. The start of this story is all warm, and wonderful, but it is the end of this story, 33 years later that saves us. It’s about the Cross…

Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church is beautifully decorated for this Advent Season. We will celebrate each Sunday that lead up to our Savior’s Birth during our regular worship service time at 9 am CST ending with celebrating His birth at our Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on Monday December 24th, at 8 pm. Please come join us as we celebrate His purest of Love, that came down.

Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church is located at 3444 E US Highway 20 in Rolling Prairie.
