It was another picture perfect weekend in New Carlisle, as the town celebrated the 14th annual Hometown Days festival.
Memorial Park once again came to life on Friday, July 27 as vendors lined the sidewalks throughout the park. An expansive food menu was also available, as festival goers were able to grab a bite to eat while listening to performances from local favorites such as Down By The Dock and Kent Arnsbarger on the steel drums.
Fireworks lit up the night sky on Friday night as a perfect prelude to an action-packed Saturday featuring a parade, another massive auto show, and one of the largest wiffleball tournaments in the nation.
The festival wrapped up on Sunday with the highly anticipated appearance by Elvis and the Sweet Sensations and with the New Carlisle Newts hoisting the Hometown Cup.
