Kay Schreiber, 1943-2018


South Bend- Kay Schreiber (Carol A. Keller), 74, passed away at home on Wednesday, February 7, 2018. Kay was born on March 2, 1943 in Chicago, IL to the late Rose M. (Komon) Kaufman. She was preceded in death by a son, Eddie Joe Keller.

Surviving is husband, Albert G. Schreiber; daughter, Bobbie (Nick) Grondsma of Hudson Lake; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Chris) Leason, of Michigan City, Natasha (Will) Fulton of Hudson Lake and Nate (Nikki) Grondsma of Rolling Prairie; four great grandchildren, Kadin Leason, Dillon Leason, Noah Grondsma and Logan Grondsma. Kay was the owner and operator of Keller’s Pistol Range for 15 years before she retired.

She was an accomplished knitter and an artist when it came to cross stitch and an expert marksman.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 28th at 1:00 PM EST at the Hudson Lake Mennonite Church, 7503 N Walker Rd, New Carlisle, IN 46552.
