It’s just around the corner! The 23rd Annual Christmas in New Carlisle Arts & Craft Show and Lighted Christmas Parade will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2017.
The Craft Show will be from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the New Carlisle Fire Station. The Lighted Christmas Parade will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Park and end at the fire station. Cookies and cocoa will be provided after the parade at the fire station.
There are many ways you can help make this a great event. We will be re-lighting the wreaths that are used to decorate the lamp posts on Thursday, November 9 at 4:00 p.m. at the Lions Club. We will be replacing some of the wreaths with new wreaths and putting new lights on all of them. If you’d like to help, please contact Kathy Aurenz to see what you will need to do. Refreshments will be provided.
If you are interested in donating cookies for the cookie sale, they can be dropped off at the fire station after 9:00 a.m. on November 26. We will also accept cookies donations for after the parade. Like to be in the parade? Contact Jessica Varga at The Diner or call her at (574)532-7376 to obtain more information.
If you would like to volunteer at the craft show selling raffle tickets or cookies, contact Kathy Aurenz at (574)654-3300. We will have shifts from 10:30-12:30, 12:30-2:30 and 2:30-4:30. We need a total of 4 people during each shift.
The Lions Club will once again be providing chili and hot dogs for a small price. And, don’t forget, Santa will be stopping in as well.
All money raised during this event is used to keep the holiday decorations beautiful throughout Town.
