New Assistant Principal at New Prairie Middle School

Students will see a new face at New Prairie Middle School this fall. New Prairie United School Corporation is proud to announce the hiring of Justin Heinold as the new assistant principal at the middle school.

Heinold, the 2006 valedictorian of LaPorte High School, has been an outstanding middle school science and high school chemistry teacher in the Indianapolis area since 2010.

Heinold’s accomplishments include serving as a mentor teacher and clinical faculty member of the prestigious STEM Teaching Fellowship at the University of Indianapolis and serving as a mentor teacher in Perry Township Schools.

He earned a master’s degree in educational administration and supervision from Ball State University.

“We were very fortunate to land Mr. Heinold, as he has established himself in the Indy area as one of the most dynamic and successful science teachers in central Indiana,” said NPUSC Superintendent Dr. Paul White.

“He comes highly recommended by his past school system and has exhibited outstanding leadership potential in his career. Mr. Heinold places a high priority on family, building relationships, listening and collaborating.”

White added, “I am confident he is a perfect fit for NPMS and our larger school community. NPMS students and faculty will be positively impacted by Mr. Heinold’s desire to serve in administration and move home to LaPorte County.”
