We live in a world that is constantly changing – in some ways for the better and in other ways for the worst.
The use of technology and the internet has opened up opportunities for tremendous “good” as family members and friends can communicate more frequently and feel closer to one another even as they live many miles apart.
Other technological advances have opened the way for convenience and the expansion of the positive impact both businesses and churches make on the larger world.
Yet in the midst of positive progress, there are disturbing conditions in the larger world from the rise of terrorism to divisions among people, countries and cultures to alarming trends with the world economy, natural disasters and the brutality of dictators against their own people.
In the midst of it all, the question remains: Where is this world headed to? Is this planet and the leaders of various countries on a direct path toward destruction? Is this a time for fear and anxiety OR does God have a better and more positive, powerful plan for us in the midst of all the drama of this earth.
Beginning on the first Sunday of May – May 7, 2017 at our weekly 10am EDT worship service, we will begin a series of messages on “The End Times” (often also called the last days) and we will look at that one and only reliable place to understand that there is “good news” from God – the Bible!
What do the Scriptures tell us about the final chapters of human history on earth and what it will look like? How can we discover the power, goodness, love and vision of God for our lives in these final days on earth?
Join us for this life-changing series as you discover that God has a greater plan that will offer us hope, faith, love and confidence for today and for tomorrow as we unravel his direction from the Bible and discover the love of Christ for us during turbulent times!
As a part of this series, on Sunday May 21, 2017 at our 10am EDT worship service, we will show the movie “4 Blood Moons." There will be refreshments and we will provide child care.
Sunday, May 7, 2017, please join us at 2:30pm EDT at Miller’s Merry Manor for devotions and communion.
“FC Man," thank you for the letter. Please come and meet us and let us thank you in person.
