LaPorte County Master Gardeners will host a Spring Garden Show from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm (Central Time) on Saturday, March 25th at Michigan City High School (8466 Pahs Road, Michigan City, IN 46360).
The main speaker will be Gene Bush, the Shade Garden Expert, who will give a talk from 10:15 am until 11:00 am on "No or Low Maintenance Gardening" and a talk from 1:00 pm until 1:45 pm on "Colorful Combinations for Shade Gardens."
Other speakers will be Marcy Dailey whose talk will be "Take Thyme to Smell The Herbs," Steve Sass, Northern Indiana Chapter of INPAWS president, whose talk will be "Butterflies and Butterfly Gardening," and speakers Karen Sarver, Alicia Ebaugh, and Nicole Messacar.
There will be children's workshops on "Backyard Arachnology," (Spiders) given by Linda Strain and "Seed Gardening for Kids," given by Jen Kuzdas.
There will be Vendors, Gift Bags, Door Prizes, and Food.
