GOSHEN- In a makeup game originally scheduled for Saturday, April 9, New Prairie fell on the road to the Goshen RedHawks, 12-3, on Thursday, April 14.
Ben McDonald continued his hot week, going 2 for 3 with a pair of doubles and an RBI.
Brad Kasinger also went 2 for 3, doubling in the second.
Bryce Bloode lasted two innings on the mound, allowing five runs, only three of which were earned.
Bloode was the pitcher of record on the negative side. Mark Mayfield and Garrett Ruiz saw some innings on the mound in relief.
New Prairie fell behind by five early, but was able to cut the deficit to just three with a couple of runs in the third inning.
The game remained within reach until the bottom half of the fifth, when the RedHawks pushed across four runs to open up a 10-2 lead.
