New Carlisle wrestler wins another state title

Reed Robinson, a second grader at Olive Elementary in New Carlisle, is the Indiana State Wrestling Association (ISWA) 2016 State Champion.

Robinson, who competed in the Bantam Division (90 lb), won by technical fall in the finals, 18-0, in the State Championships held at Warren Central High School in Indianapolis.

This is Robinson’s second state title in three years. Robinson, who had an undefeated 2016 season, wrestles for Penn Wrestling Club in Mishawaka.

He is the son of Michael and Shannon Robinson of New Carlisle.
